Overview
Designed and engineered the component library and design system underpinning data.one.org — a separate workstream focused on building the frontend foundation the platform runs on. Work centered on creating reusable, data-aware components with readability and content design as first-order concerns: type hierarchy, data density, editorial rhythm, and the small decisions that determine whether a dataset feels approachable or opaque.
Collaborated across design and engineering to ensure components held up across contexts — from dense statistical tables to narrative-driven editorial pages — while maintaining consistency and reducing implementation drift.
